The countdown device for the Beijing winter Olympic Games is nearly 1,000 square meters of LED screen screen, set in the heart of the Olympic park downtown linglong tower.The main body of linglong tower is made of steel structure, which is divided into 7 layers and decorated with glass curtain wall. The total height of linglong tower is 132 meters.The countdown device is located on the south side of the tower on the 4th to 7th floor. The screen displays a countdown picture, which is from the top to the bottom: the emblem of the Beijing winter Olympic Games, the countdown words and the countdown Numbers.The structure of linglong tower is like the construction of multiple hourglasses, which is consistent with the concept of countdown.The exquisite tower with the countdown device for the winter Olympic Games echoes with the "bird's nest", "water cube" and other venues, forming a distinct theme of the winter Olympic landscape.
